Share markdown and AI output with one link

sharemd.net turns markdown into a shareable link. Paste markdown or the output of an AI agent into the editor above, check the rendered preview, and press Share. No account, no signup. The document expires on its own after 15 days.

One link that renders any model’s output beautifully.

The output layer for AI agents

Agents and chat models produce a growing amount of text that someone needs to read once: a research summary, a code review, a migration plan, a report from an automated run. Most of it is written in markdown, and most of it does not need to live forever. sharemd.net is where those results are delivered, read and then removed. It works the same whether the text came from Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini, a local model or a script you wrote, because it only reads markdown. The content is never summarized, translated or rewritten by AI.

How it works

  1. Paste or write markdown in the editor. Switch between Editor, Preview and Split views with Cmd/Ctrl+Shift+P.
  2. Press Share. You get a read-only link to send and a write link that lets anyone holding it edit the document, so keep that one to yourself.
  3. Send the read link. In Slack, Discord, X or LinkedIn it shows the document title and a short description instead of a bare URL.
  4. After 15 days the document and its content are deleted automatically. A badge shows how many days are left.

What renders

Tables, task lists, footnotes, strikethrough, heading anchors and an automatic table of contents for documents with three or more headings. Code blocks are highlighted for 13 common languages, Mermaid blocks become diagrams and $...$ becomes KaTeX math. To only read a file you already have, use the markdown viewer; to send a document to someone, see share markdown online.

What happens to your document

Shared documents are not indexed by search engines; they are reachable by whoever has the link, and anyone with the link can read them. You can export the original as .md, as a self-contained .html file, or copy the rendered text into an email or a doc. For a step-by-step walkthrough, read how to share markdown without an account.
