Paste Markdown Online

Paste your text, press Share, copy the link. That is the whole flow.

To paste markdown online and get a link, paste the text into the editor above and press Share. You get a link to a rendered read-only page right away, with no account and nothing to configure. The page is deleted automatically 15 days after you create it.

This page is for the moment when you have markdown on your clipboard and need it somewhere other people can open. Often that text is an answer from ChatGPT, Claude or another model, copied with its tables and code blocks intact. Pasting it into a chat tool or an email tends to lose that structure; pasting it here keeps it.

Three steps

  1. Paste. Click into the editor, select the example text, and paste over it with Cmd/Ctrl+V.
  2. Share. Press the Share button. The document is saved and the share dialog opens.
  3. Copy the read-only link and send it.

There is no title field, no visibility setting and no expiration picker to fill in. If you want a specific title, put a frontmatter block with title: at the top of what you paste; otherwise the document takes its title from its content.

What happens to what you paste

Pastes can be up to 500 KB. Raw HTML in the pasted text is shown as text, not rendered.

Before you paste

Read through the text once. Model output can contain things you did not mean to share, such as file paths, internal hostnames or tokens from a log. Once a link is sent, the document cannot be deleted early; it stays readable by anyone with the link until it expires.

For a model-specific walkthrough, see how to share a ChatGPT response or how to share Claude output. If you are sending a document to colleagues and want options beyond a plain link, such as an embed or a QR code, read share markdown online.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need to sign up to paste markdown?

No. Paste, press Share, and copy the link. No account or email is asked for.

How long does the pasted page stay online?

15 days from creation. After that the content is deleted automatically.

Can I delete a paste before it expires?

Not today. A document stays available to anyone with the link until its 15 days are up, so check the text before sharing.

What if I paste plain text that is not markdown?

It still works. Plain text renders as paragraphs. Markdown formatting is applied only where the text uses it.
